faith leaping.

let me tell you, friends, Thursday morning was hard.

three solid hours of sitting in the Library Lecture Room, listening to the man who held our fate in his hands talk about Paul?

not much concentration went on there.

but then the big moment arrived.

we all gathered in 206.
sweaty palms.
phones ready for texting.

he read them out one by one.
everyone clapped.

most were over joyed.
others hid it well.

My top site came and went without my name.

but as soon as my name was read, with "Christ, Spring Grove, PA" after.

I knew.

It was right.

it is where we are supposed to be.

and so there is no faith leaping because of location,
but let me tell you.

there is still faith leaping.
lots of leaping.

and so in August we pack up once again, move 35 minutes away to an old farm house parsonage and hunker down for two years at a small rural church.

and I couldn't be more thrilled.

(and there was cake)
