Feeding the Soul.

As the weekend to come promises warmer temperatures and a peek at the spring that is to come, last weekend I spent the last winter weekend curled up in Deitz Lodge at camp with 14 or so fabulous women.

We enjoyed the snow and what is left of winter as well as seeing the spring that is sneaking in..

We hiked.

We ate and conversed...

We enjoyed each others company, and seeing ones that live too far away...

We crafted...

We ate...

There was always a crackling fire...

We spent time in nature..taking in all that Nawakwa has to offer...

And enjoyed a little bit of a thaw.

and sometime in there we discussed books and theology and fed our souls with our friends and family.

and at the end of the weekend I came out refreshed.

and I got to come back to this...

And that's all I needed to continue on in this difficult semester.
