toes in the water, toes in the sand..

We spent this weekend in DE with grammie and grampie. 

EM saw the beach for the first time..

and not "saw" the ocean by sleeping on daddy in the moby.

Or being cranky.

but looked at it.

(and let the salt air bring out the fifths rash on her cheeks as evidenced above...)

And she put her feet in the sand for the first time.

and loved it. (how could you not?)

She just wanted to sit down and get those chubby, sticky little hands in it.

but unfortunately we had dinner to get to!

They'll be plenty of time for that this summer...

It was a really great weekend.

There is something so completely relaxing/rejuvenating about simply being near the ocean.
